Ekwutosi Winifred Okafor, M.A., LPC Associate, LCDC, NCC, is a licensed addiction and mental health counselor and healthcare leader dedicated to helping individuals and families heal, recover, and move forward with confidence and dignity. Winifred brings a culturally humble, trauma-informed approach to her work, honoring each person’s lived experience, values, and strengths. As an independently practicing Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) and a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, she provides evidence-based care for trauma, substance use and addiction recovery, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. Her work also includes supporting safety-sensitive professionals through DOT Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) services and integrated telehealth care across Texas. In addition to her clinical practice, Winifred serves in executive leadership roles, guiding multidisciplinary programs that support justice-involved individuals, high-responsibility professionals, and underserved communities.
